• How Innessco Works

We make legal IT simple: the right desktop model, one managed service, clear per-user pricing, and no technical guesswork for your firm.

    HOW IT WORKS

Legal IT, simplified for law firms

Innessco manages the IT environment your firm relies on every day — desktops, Microsoft 365, security, helpdesk, user onboarding, vendor coordination and ongoing improvement.

Your firm should not have to make decisions about CPU, RAM, storage tiers, Microsoft licences, backup or security tools. Innessco contracts to the outcome, not the components: a managed, secure and supported IT environment for your firm’s applications and data, operated to defined performance and support standards, and delivered through a clear per-user monthly service.

    SELECT THE RIGHT MODEL

Three ways to manage your firm’s desktop

Different firms need different desktop models. Some firms need a centrally hosted desktop for server-based applications, shared data and secure remote access. Others are better suited to managed laptops or desktops because their core applications already work well over the internet. Innessco assesses how your firm works and recommends the model that delivers the right outcome.

Cloud PC using Azure Virtual Desktop

A Cloud PC gives each user a firm-standard Windows desktop hosted centrally and managed by Innessco. Ideal for firms using Affinity, Practice Evolve or any core application that works best on a local network and requires a server. It is also chosen by firms that want all desktops, applications and data managed centrally for security, consistency and remote working.

    Cloud PC using Windows 365

Windows 365 provides a dedicated Cloud PC for an individual user with specific requirements. Best for flexibility where particular users require different applications, access or performance from the rest of the firm.

    Managed PC

A Managed PC is a firm laptop or desktop, with your applications installed locally, while Innessco manages the device, Microsoft 365, security, patching and support. Best for firms whose core applications already operate well over the internet. It is well suited to firms using LEAP, Actionstep, Clio and similar cloud-based legal platforms.

    No technical guesswork

Most law firms do not want to choose server sizes, vCPU counts, RAM, storage tiers, host pools, session density or licensing combinations.

    That is our job.

Innessco designs, sizes and operates the environment required to support your firm’s applications, data and users. We contract to the outcome — a managed, secure and supported IT environment — not the individual technical components behind it.

    DAY-TO-DAY EXPERIENCE

    What your team experiences

Your team work in a familiar Windows environment, with the applications, documents, email, PDF tools and printing they need configured around the way your firm operates.

Cloud PC users access their firm desktop through the Windows App from an existing laptop or desktop. Their desktop, applications and files are hosted centrally, giving them a consistent working environment whether they are in the office, at home, at court or travelling.

Managed PC users continue working from their firm-managed laptop or desktop, while Innessco manages the device configuration, Microsoft 365 settings, security controls, patching and support tools.

The result is a simpler day-to-day IT experience: fewer local setup issues, more consistent access to firm systems, clearer support pathways, and less time spent by partners, practice managers or senior staff trying to resolve IT problems internally.

When users need assistance, they contact Innessco for helpdesk support, access changes, onboarding, offboarding and day-to-day IT issues.

    MONTHLY MANAGEMENT

    What Innessco Manages Every Month

    SECURITY ARCHITECTURE

Security built into the managed service

    Identity and Access

MFA, Conditional Access, location controls and least-privilege administration help ensure only authorised users can access firm systems.

    Desktop Protection

Microsoft Defender, Huntress, device hardening and patching protect Managed PCs and Cloud PC environments from common threats.

    Email and Data Protection

Microsoft 365 security controls help protect against phishing, malicious links, unsafe attachments and inappropriate access to firm data.

    24/7 Threat Monitoring

Huntress provides 24/7 security monitoring and SOC review, with alerts investigated, escalated and remediated where required.
    PROJECTS AND CHANGES

What is included each month — and what becomes a project

The monthly service covers management of your IT environment. When your firm wants to introduce something new, materially change the environment or complete work that sits outside the normal management cycle, Innessco treats that work as a project.

    What is a project?

    • New application deployment or integration.
    • Significant infrastructure changes, such as office moves, network upgrades or server migrations.
    • Major practice management system upgrades or migrations.
    • Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power BI, Copilot or workflow projects beyond normal administration.
    • Any work requiring sustained effort beyond standard monthly management.

    How we handle projects

    • Written scope and quote before work begins.
    • Clear responsibility boundaries between Innessco, your firm and third-party vendors.
    • Vendor coordination included where required.
    • Agreed timing, testing and cutover plan.
    • No surprise project work without approval.

    Still not sure?

The most reliable way to identify the right model is a short conversation. Innessco will review how your firm works and provide a clear, practical recommendation you can consider in your own time.
