Business continuity is not only about disaster recovery. It is about keeping partners, lawyers and staff productive when the office internet fails, network hardware stops working, Microsoft 365 has an outage, or a system needs to be restored.
Innessco designs managed environments so the firm is not dependent on a single office server room. Cloud PC environments run in Microsoft Azure, Managed PC environments rely on cloud-based services, and local office infrastructure is simplified to the essentials: internet, networking, Wi-Fi and printers.
Remote Access — Work From Anywhere
Because Cloud PC and Microsoft 365 environments are cloud-hosted, staff can continue working from another location if the office is unavailable.
A local office outage does not necessarily stop the firm from operating. If the office internet, router, switch or power is affected, staff may be able to continue working from home, another office, court, or using a mobile data connection where practical.
For Cloud PC clients, the desktop, applications and data remain hosted in Azure. For Managed PC clients, core systems such as Microsoft 365 and cloud-based practice management systems remain accessible from managed devices with an internet connection.
Local Office Connectivity
Innessco supports the local office infrastructure that keeps staff connected to the managed environment, including routers, switches, Wi-Fi, internet services and printing.
If a router, switch or internet service fails, Innessco will triage the issue, coordinate with the relevant vendor or carrier, and assist with restoration. Where the equipment is under warranty or vendor support contract, we manage the escalation pathway and provide the technical information required to progress the fault.
Where practical, staff can continue working using alternative connectivity, such as mobile data, a 4G/5G connection, working from home, or relocating to another available workspace while the office service is restored.
Microsoft 365 and Cloud Service Outages
Microsoft 365 and other cloud platforms are highly resilient, but no cloud service is immune from outages.
When a Microsoft 365 service issue occurs, Innessco monitors Microsoft’s service health information and confirms whether the issue is recognised by Microsoft. If required, we raise a support request through the appropriate Microsoft support channels and keep the firm informed as more information becomes available.
Where the issue relates to another vendor system, such as a practice management system, telephony provider or internet service, Innessco coordinates with the vendor and manages the support pathway on the firm’s behalf.
A Clear Path Back to Normal
When an outage or incident affects your firm, Innessco provides a single point of contact. We identify the likely cause, coordinate with vendors, advise on workarounds where available, and keep the firm informed until normal service is restored.
Business continuity is built into the way we manage your environment: cloud-hosted systems, monitored backups, standard hardware, vendor escalation and practical recovery processes.
